Did You Know?

When Winnsboro was founded in 1854, it was originally named Crossroads because of its location at State Highways 37 and 11. The name changed to Winnsborough in 1878 for one of its first settlers, and was later shortened to Winnsboro.

Bonnie and Clyde frequented Winnsboro and the downtown Bowery was home to booming saloons and early industry.
