Winnsboro EDC Culture

Winnsboro brings talent to your doorstep.

winnsboro arts districtWinnsboro was one of the first cities to earn the national “Cultural Arts District” designation. It remains the smallest city in Texas to have this distinction, and provides a wide array of visual and performing arts at the Bowery Stage for the Arts, in school auditoriums and at the Winnsboro Civic Center. The theatre is an intimate venue with remarkable acoustics, providing the best possible quality of sound to the delight of performers and audiences alike.

At the weekly Farmers’ Market on Market Street, artisanal pieces are available in addition to the outstanding produce that comes directly from the growers and dairies in the area. The culinary arts are featured by distinctive vendors who create sweet pastries to Bavarian bratwurst.

Events are the norm in Winnsboro. Activities take place every month of the year, and virtually every week.
